The Marketing Specialist supports marketing initiatives for multifamily apartment communities with a strong emphasis on social media management, content coordination, and brand consistency. This role is responsible for executing community-level social media activity, monitoring engagement, and providing administrative and operational marketing support across the portfolio.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Social Media Management (Primary Focus)
    • Manage and support social media accounts for multiple apartment communities
    • Build, schedule, and maintain social media content calendars using HeyOrca
    • Draft captions and coordinate basic creative assets in alignment with brand standards
    • Coordinate with on-site teams to collect photos, videos, and community-generated content
    • Submit content for approval, implement feedback, and ensure timely posting
    • Publish and manage posts through HeyOrca and approved platforms
    • Monitor comments, messages, and engagement during business hours, with limited weekend and after-hours monitoring as needed
    • Escalate urgent resident, prospect, or reputation-related issues according to internal protocols
    • Assist with tracking engagement, reach, and performance metrics
  • Multifamily Marketing Support
    • Support marketing initiatives for apartment communities and portfolios
    • Assist with Internet Listing Service (ILS) content accuracy and updates
    • Support reputation management efforts, including review monitoring and reporting
    • Assist with resident events, promotions, open houses, and outreach campaigns
    • Ensure brand standards are followed across all community marketing material
    • Support leasing teams with flyers, signage, and digital collateral
  • Administrative & Operational Duties
    • Track marketing requests, deadlines, approvals, and deliverables across communities
    • Maintain social media calendars, marketing schedules, and internal trackers
    • Organize and manage digital asset libraries, templates, and brand files
    • Assist with vendor coordination, invoices, and purchase order documentation
    • Support budget tracking and basic marketing reporting
    • Perform data entry and updates in CRMs, ILS platforms, and marketing systems
    • Schedule meetings, document notes, and follow up on assigned action items

Qualifications include, but are not limited to:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 1–3 years of marketing, social media, communications, or administrative experience
  • Strong written communication skills with attention to tone and brand voice
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Comfortable managing multiple social accounts and deadlines
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
  • Familiarity with HeyOrca, Meta Business Suite, and major social platforms (Instagram, Facebook, etc.) preferred
  • Experience with Canva or similar design tools is a plus
