Lease Up Specialist

LR Management is looking for a dependable and hard-working individual with previous apartment community experience to join our team. The successful candidate will be a team player, have a positive attitude along with being self-motivated and self-directed.
The Lease Up Specialist will be reporting to a location within the company’s portfolio with the goal of boosting occupancy utilizing out of the box thinking and their past experience with successful methods. When the property has reached the occupancy goal, the Lease Up Specialist will transition to another property with the same goals.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Execute the lease-up strategy to achieve and maintain target occupancy and revenue goals
- Generate and follow up on leads through various marketing channels, including online listings, social media, referrals, and community outreach
- Conduct property tours, demonstrate unit features, and highlight community amenities to prospective residents
- Process rental applications, verify qualifications, and prepare lease agreements in compliance with Fair Housing laws and company policies
- Collaborate with marketing and management teams to develop creative strategies that enhance visibility and traffic
- Maintain accurate records in property management software
- Assist with move-ins, resident relations, and coordination of grand opening or promotional events
- Provide exceptional customer service and ensure a positive experience for all prospects and residents
Qualifications include, but are not limited to:
- 2+ years of leasing experience, preferably in lease-ups.
- Proven ability to meet or exceed leasing and occupancy goals.
- Strong sales, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of Fair Housing regulations and property management software
- Self-motivated with excellent organizational and time-management abilities
- Availability to work weekends as needed during peak leasing periods
