Central Leasing Manager
Join the fastest growing property management company in Michigan as a Central Leasing Manager! LR Management is looking for a dependable and hard-working individual to join our team. The successful candidate will be an organized, multi-tasking team player, with strong people skills and a positive attitude, along with being self-motivated and self-directed.
The Customer Experience Manager will work closely with the Marketing Director, property teams, Customer Experience, Digital Experience, and Operations to support prospect follow-up and leasing conversion across our portfolio of apartment communities. The primary focus of this role will be making sure prospects receive timely, consistent follow-up and helping turn qualified interest into scheduled and completed tours.
This is a corporate, centralized leasing role not a traditional position assigned to one leasing office.
LR Management offers an outstanding total compensation package including:
- Competitive compensation
- Health, vision, and dental benefits
- A wide selection of voluntary benefits to meet employees’ individual needs
- 401(k) with company match
- 15 days of accrued PTO per year
- Employee training and certification assistance
- Career growth opportunities
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Manage prospect follow-up across multiple apartment communities.
- Respond to new and existing prospects through phone, email, text, and CRM.
- Convert qualified leads into scheduled property tours.
- Confirm appointments and follow up with cancellations and no-shows.
- Re-engage aged, inactive, and previously unresponsive leads.
- Maintain accurate CRM notes, statuses, communication history, and follow-up activity.
- Coordinate scheduled tours and important prospect information with onsite leasing teams.
- Support communities experiencing high lead volume, staffing challenges, or conversion concerns.
- Identify recurring prospect objections, questions, and barriers to leasing.
- Monitor contact rates, appointment generation, shows, reactivation efforts, and follow-up performance.
Qualifications include, but are not limited to:
- Experience in multifamily leasing, sales, hospitality, customer service, appointment setting, call-center operations, or a related field.
- Strong phone presence and excellent written communication.
- Comfortable initiating conversations and following up consistently.
- Strong sales and customer-service instincts.
- Excellent organization and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage a high volume of prospects across multiple communities.
- Comfortable using CRM, phone, email, text-based communication platforms, and other leasing technologies.
- Familiarity with EliseAI or similar AI-powered leasing platforms is a plus.
- Strong personal accountability and follow-through.
- Multifamily leasing experience is strongly preferred.
The ideal candidate will be successful when prospects receive timely and helpful communication, more qualified leads become scheduled and completed tours, viable leads aren't lost because of inconsistent follow-up, and onsite teams receive meaningful centralized leasing support.
If you enjoy talking to people, aren’t afraid of follow up, and understand that sometimes the difference between a lead and a lease is simply making the next call, we'd love to hear from you.
